Thank you for your interest in Friendly Crossways. We’ve provided a unique country retreat with services for nonprofit groups, family reunions, and wedding couples since 1947.

MEETING SPACE IN OUR RENOVATED NEW ENGLAND BARN

Large 24′ x 36′ Meeting Room
o Located on first floor adjacent to wheelchair accessible bathrooms & lodging
o Comfortable living room style seating you can move around to meet your needs
o Wall to wall carpeting suitable for yoga/meditation retreats
o Lecture style seating for up to 80 people available (set up fee may be charged)
o Wall suitable for slide/power point projections
o VCR/DVD player

‘Subterranean Suite’ breakout room for smaller groups
o Seating for 25
o Ping pong table

Dining Hall / Meeting Hall
o 24′ x 48′ with banquet seating for 72
o Includes fireplace and piano
o Adjacent to kitchen on first floor, wheel chair accessible

LODGING: ACCOMMODATIONS IN OUR REFURNISHED BARN, HAYLOFT AND CARRIAGE HOUSE

o 13 private and family bedrooms with one to four beds
o main dorm can sleep up to 25
o loft dorm has 4 twin and 3 bunk beds
o blankets, pillows, and hand-made quilts provided (sleeping bags are not allowed for sanitation reasons)
o linens and towels for rent or bring your own

KITCHEN

The kitchen is fully equipped with two stoves, two ovens, two sinks, two refrigerators, commercial dishwasher, commercial coffee maker, microwave as well as pots, pans and tableware to serve 72.

GAMES, GARDENS, FIREPLACE, FIRE CIRCLE, FOREST

The facility is situated on four acres of lawn with volleyball, softball, and soccer set-ups, surrounded by 40 acres of organic gardens, forest and corn fields. There is a fire place in the dining hall and a large fire circle in our outdoor wedding glade.

PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY

There is ample parking on and near our retreat center and the first floor is wheel chair accessible, including lodging, kitchen, dining hall, toilet and shower.
